STANDARD SHIPPING
Orders are shipped during business days, from Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian and Quebec holidays. Customers have the option to have their orders expedited or picked up from our Montreal warehouse (make ‘Montreal Warehouse’ a clickable link to the contact us page). For pick up orders, no freight-charge will apply. All orders to be shipped will be subject to the following rules:
QUALIFYING FOR 18% FREIGHT CAP: (The following conditions must be met to qualify for the 18% freight cap. If the following conditions are not met, please scroll down and see ‘Custom Freight Quote)
- • The order value is equal to or above $3,500 CAN before discounts &/or taxes.
- • The shipping destination is in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, or British Columbia, & the reception must have a shipping dock.
- • The order contains items which do not exceed any dimension over 82”

Once your order is placed, a CDI Support Agent will contact you by phone/email within 24-48 hours, at which time you will be provided with the best freight solutions. Your approval on the freight will be required before the order can be completed, invoiced and dispatched.

- • The order value is equal to or above $3,000 USD before discounts &/or taxes.
- • The shipping destination’s reception must have a shipping dock.
- • The order contains items which do not exceed any dimension over 82”
There is a 6% duty applied to all lighting products shipped to the USA
There is a 7% duty applied to all mirrors shipped to the USA
* U.S. Customs may apply import duties or other fees to the purchaser for orders imported to the United States. These additional duties and fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. If you have any questions about duties please contact your local U.S. Customs authority.

All international orders require custom freight-quotes in order to ensure the best possible shipping & handling rates are applied to the order. During checkout, your credit card will be pre-authorized* for the order’s Sub Total amount, which includes the order value and added taxes.
A CDI Furniture support agent will contact you via the contact info provided in your account on the following business day, with a Grand Total (subtotal plus freight charge). An updated invoice will be sent to you for your records. Please note, credit card funds will NOT be taken until the order is completed between the CDI Furniture support agent & the customer. During this time, orders will be placed on hold for a period of 1 week, if a customer can not be reached, the items will be returned back to stock.
Pre-authorized charges temporarily apply a 25% charge on top of all orders with custom freight-quotes to ensure the custom freight-charges are met. However, only the Grand Total provided by the CDI Furniture Support Agent will be captured.
Orders that are on backorder will be charged for the full amount. Upon receiving backorders items, CDI Furniture will have the items shipped immediately.
